Ong ADDA joins the Global Climate Strike

The international movement of young activists Fridays For Future initiated by Greta Thunberg calls for mobilizations around the world on the occasion of the Summit for Climate Change that will take place on September 23 at the headquarters of the United Nations, in New York and that will bring together the main world leaders.

The actions will lead up to a GLOBAL CLIMATE STRIKE, on Friday, September 27th. Organizations and civil society groups urge citizens to support and join the strike in defense of the future, of a living planet and of a fair world. In Spain, over 300 organizations, including ADDA, support this movement.

People are called on to get involved by gathering out of offices, schools, town halls and other workplaces, for 4 minutes and 15 seconds, between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Friday 27. This symbolic period refers to 415 parts per million (ppm) which is, according to experts, the concentration of carbon dioxide particles in the Earth atmosphere recorded last April for the first time in human history.

ADDA will actively participate in this outstanding event and we encourage all the people to take part on it in their cities.
