Brussels, 30/1/2013.- Tonio Borg, the European Commissioner in charge of cosmetics regulations, has personally confirmed to the Michelle Thew, Chief Executive of the European Coalition to End Animal Experiments (ECEAE), that the import and sale of animal tested cosmetic products and ingredients is set to be banned in the EU on 11th March 2013.

The ECEAE, represented in Spain by Ngo ADDA, have been at the forefront of the European campaign to end animal testing for cosmetics for 23 years - and we are immensely proud of this achievement. It has been a long and difficult journey to get here but we have been there at every step of the way.
