On June 28, ADDA sent an open letter of all the elected members in Congress and the Senate, expressing the unfortunate significance of putting to the vote the declaration of bullfighting as part of the Cultural Heritage. It is an outrageous and shameful move that takes Parliament and Spain backward to the times of the Roman circus.

Ong Adda, which for 37 years has been denouncing bullfighting, due to its degrading and cruel content of animal abuse, wants to remind our political representatives that they ought to be aware of the limits of their prerogatives and the responsibility they carry to exercise their commitment to represent, support and promote the country in an exemplary manner, toward ethical attitudes and prestige in the world.
