ADDA has always been concerned by the conditions to which animals are subjected in farming factory. Intensive rabbit farming is another example of industrial farming, which aims to produce the highest output at the lowest cost, regardless of the wellbeing of the animals.

A recent investigation of Igualdad Animal (Animal Equality) reveals the appalling conditions of the rabbits reared in 70 farms and 4 slaughterhouses in Spain, These include: abuse and neglect of animals, severe infringements of health and safety requirements and illegal sale of the meat without health and bio-security inspections.
