On January 21, a hunter shot two rural agents in Aspa (Lleida- Catalonia) when they requested him the regulatory documentation for hunting. Ngo ADDA and Ecologistes en Acció de Catalunya circulated a communiqué and a press release, regretting the death of the two rural agents and conveying condolences to their families. In the communiqué, we request a thorough review of the hutinh legislation, to protect people and environment preservation.

Ngo ADDA also sent a open letter to the President of Generalitat, M.H. Carles Puigdemont and circulated a press release asking him to confer a posthumous medal to the two forest wardens as an exemple of the great task rural agents are developing in defense of nature.
